FAQ – Cobot-series

What is the difference between the three cobot models?

The three models differ primarily in payload, reach and weight:

  • Cobot 20 kg – powerful model for heavy workpieces and palletizing in high-capacity environments
  • Cobot 10 kg – versatile model for medium-sized tasks and flexible automation
  • Cobot 5 kg – compact and lightweight model for pick & place and small assembly tasks

Are the cobots easy to install and use?

Yes. All models are delivered plug & play and are controlled via an intuitive control pad with drag learning and a graphical user interface. The user can drag the robot by hand and program without coding.

Does the installation require special equipment?

No, the robot can be mounted directly on the floor, wall or ceiling. All necessary equipment is included, and compact dimensions make integration easy in both new and existing lines.

How is cobot safety?

All models have:

  • Built-in torque sensors in all axes
  • Adjustable drag mode and collision detection Complies with EN ISO 13849-1 PLd Cat.3 & EN ISO 10218-1 IP54 protection against dust and moisture

Are there safety features?

Yes. The machines are CE approved and equipped with:

  • Light curtains and emergency stop
  • Automatic calibration and adjustment
  • Enclosed cabin with operator safety in focus
  • Fault and system monitoring via touchscreen

How is the machine operated in practice?

The operator controls the entire drilling and milling process via the touchscreen:

  • Import workpiece file or select program manually
  • Place the plate and start automatic cycle
  • Adjust drilling and milling parameters as needed
  • Monitor status, errors and operation in real time

Which companies are the target group?

The NCB series is aimed at:

  • Industrial companies with a need for flexible and precise drilling in many variants
  • Furniture manufacturers
  • Carpentry and kitchen manufacturers
  • Interior design companies
